Businesses are spending more on environmental marketing

A survey of US business carried out by Environmental Leader has identified that 82% of businesses intend to increase their spend on green advertising, with the majority of marketers agreeing that it was effective, a view echoed by key decision makers within businesses. The survery also identified that firms struggled to communicate their “greenness” to customers, fearing that customers perceived them as less environmentally friendly than they actually are.
