Yesterday's budget sets out measures to reduce emissions within industry, government and households.

These include assessing the energy tax framework and incorporating carbon pricing, bringing forward relevant legislation into the Finance Bill 2011. Previous plans with regard to emissions-based amendments to vehicle taxation have also been confirmed.
